Bottleworks District Engagement Session | Meredith & Josh

These two —so much chemistry and so much fun :)

A little backstory before we dive in. When I was studying photojournalism at Indiana University, I’d occasionally take photos of my roommate, Courtney, for her newly created blog Mimosas & Manhattan. Courtney loved fashion and I needed to practice my camera skills so it was the perfect combination. We had so much fun getting creative and having this be our little side project. Flash forward to now, Courtney is living in NYC, killing it in the blogger and influencer world. Whenever we see each other we try to schedule a shoot or two, and I’m just so proud of how far she’s come (and has yet to go!).

Meredith is the younger sister of Courtney so I already felt a special connection to her. I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her wedding day. I’ve witnessed the love she and Josh share and automatically knew it’s one of those special, meant-to-be types of love.

Meredith and Josh have a beautiful home in Indianapolis so we decided to start their engagement session cozied up on the couch with their pets and then head to the Bottleworks District. These photos are proof that winter sessions can be just as fun and romantic as summer and fall sessions. They were game for anything and everything which made my job so great. I always appreciate a couple who isn’t afraid to make out in public :)
Josh and Meredith have plans to marry at Regions Tower in Indianapolis accompanied by all their closest friends and family. I already know it’s going to be a day full of joy, love, tears and laughter. The best type of memories.
