FAQ
How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been a full-time photographer for 7 years but have loved being behind the camera for as long as I can remember.
Where are you based out of? Can you travel to us?
I’m currently based out of Denver, CO, but I absolutely love to travel! All my packages include cost of travel and accommodations so you don’t have to worry about any additional fees.
What is your turnaround time? How many images do you include?
I deliver my sessions within 2-3 weeks and weddings within 6-8 weeks. I never put a limit on how many photos I deliver because I would never want to withhold any special moments from you. I tend to go overboard with how many photos I give because I can never narrow down all the beautiful shots ;)
What if I don’t know what to do in front of the camera?
Most people don’t! That’s why I prefer unposed photos anyway :) I’ll certainly give you guidance throughout your session, but for the most part, I want you to just feel like you’re in your own little world. We’ll play some music, maybe drink some wine, and have a grand ole time documenting who you are.
Can you help us with what to wear for our photos?
Absolutely! I have a “What to Wear” guide just for this.
Do you help in the planning process?
I love collaborating with you to ensure we create the vision you see in your head and have always dreamt about. We’ll swap ideas on Pinterest, formulate a plan for your session or wedding day, and feel 100% ready to go once the time comes for you to get in front of the camera.
How many weddings do you take on per year? How far in advanced do you book out?
Because I shoot a variety of subjects, I cap my weddings at 10 per year. I want to be sure each couple receives the time and attention they deserve. This way we can become fast friends and our time together won’t feel like a business transaction :) I usually book weddings up to a year in advance. For everything else, I typically schedule in three month increments.
What are the next steps?
Once you’ve submitted your information through my contact form, I’ll be in touch for us to schedule a call. I prefer chatting over the phone rather than emailing back and forth so I can hear more of your authentic self and we can become fast friends!
