Three Generations Family Session at Tova Studios | Sherri, Afton & Vale

I connected with Afton and her company Afton Events during the planning process of Nicole and Serge’s wedding. Working with her team was such a pleasure so I was thrilled when she reached out for her own session to document the recent birth of her daughter, Vale. What I found so uniquely special was that her mom, Sherri, was coming to town, and Afton wanted to capture their three generations of beautiful women in celebration of Mother’s Day. What an incredible intention for our time together.

Afton wanted this three generation shoot to be shot in a studio for a more classic, simplistic feel. Tova Studios is always a go-to studio space of mine because it’s a no-fuss type of space. The backdrops and props are exactly what you need when capturing timeless photographs.

Documenting the love between families fills my heart to the brim. It brings me so much joy to not only witness such love but to capture it to have hanging in a home forever. I believe there is no greater love than family love - however your family may look, it’s worthy of admiration.
